It is very sad for me personally to learn about the passing of the legendary Dick Clark. He was one of the first champions of my music, starting my career off by putting me on "American Bandstand" and its spinoff "Where the Action Is". I was also part of his first "New Year's Rockin' Eve". He was a national treasure, producing music television for young people, by young people. His influence single handedly changed the face of American music that helped launch the careers of many great artists who are still active today. He was always a dear friend and will be incredibly missed. My heartfelt condolences to his wife Kari and his three children. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

"Instant Love" - the "lost" film from 1964 featuring Neil has been digitally remastered and restored and will make its world television premiere on Saturday, December 3rd on Turner Classic Movies at 10pm EST/7pm PST.

There will be a DVD release of the film in 2012 on Warner Bros. Home Video.

Neil will be appearing on "Top 5 at 105" on Wednesday, November 23rd on New York's classical radio station WQXR in celebration of their 75th Anniversary.

As part of the celebration, WQXR has released on their website the broadcast of the 1956 educational competition program "Musical Talents In Our Schools", which features a 16-year-old Neil performing and winning the competition.

Neil will be attending the premiere of his piano concerto "Manhattan Intermezzo" on September 12, 2011 at Orchestra Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Performed by renowned pianist Jeffrey Biegel, "Manhattan Intermezzo" is a journey through the musical diversity of Manhattan. Neil has recorded it with the London Philharmonic and hopes for a CD release soon.

We are very pleased to announce the release of Marc Sedaka's book What He Can Expect When She's Not Expecting.

Like most men, Marc Sedaka expected at some point after getting married and have children. But after endless rounds of drug therapies, sixteen artificial inseminations, nine failed in vitro fertilizations, three miscarriages, six years of frustration, and a quarter of a million bucks, he learned that it’s not always that easy. Now, as the father of three young children (twin girls born through in vitro fertilization and gestational surrogacy and a son born completely naturally once the pressure was off), Marc can look back at his experience, laugh a little, and hopefully help those six million men in the trenches to prepare for what lies ahead. “While no single piece of advice can make things all better,” Marc admits, “I can at least offer a few must-have tips to avoid making things worse.”

I am shocked and saddened by the death of the great Don Kirshner, who discovered me at 18 years old. I walked into his office at 1650 Broadway, played a few songs for him, and he signed me to Aldon Music becoming my first music publisher and manager.

It was Don's introduction to Connie Francis, who would go on to record "Stupid Cupid" and propel my songwriting career. Donny worked for many years promoting my songs.

He was a great friend, a pioneer, and a father figure for many of us young songwriters. He will be missed. My heart felt condolences and love to his wonderful wife of 50 years, Sheila, his children, and his grandchildren.

In 1975, Neil wrote "The Immigrant" for John Lennon, who, at the time, was having trouble with the immigration department in the United States. When Neil phoned John to tell him about the song, John was reluctant to take the call since people normally only called to ask for favors, never to offer anything. He was very touched by Neil's gesture with the song, which remains a staple in Neil's live repertoire.

John - Even though it has been thirty years since your untimely death, the impact of your songwriting remains just as vital. In fact, my five year old grandson knows every Beatles song and has informed me that even though he loves my songs, his favorites are The Beatles. With Love, Neil.

Neil, who was scheduled to perform at The Walt Disney Concert Hall on Wednesday, October 27th & The Chumash Casino on Thursday, October 28th has postponed the performances due to illness. Neil is suffering from acute pharyngitis and acute laryngitis and is extremely sorry to disappoint his fans.

On October 8th, Neil was honored by The Variety Club, with their prestigious Silver Heart Award, in recognition of Neil's "Outstanding contribution to the world of Music and Entertainment".

Neil and Leba were very moved by what a wonderful tribute The Variety Club produced. Neil would like to send a Special Thanks to Lyn Staunton, and everyone at The Variety Club who worked so hard on a truly unforgettable evening.

Neil is currently spending the day in London recording his two Symphonic compositions 'Joie De Vivre" and "Manhattan Intermezzo" with The London Symphony Orchestra.
