Whether writing themes, scoring, arranging and/or performing on important television projects, accompanying major artists in the studio or on stage, producing and performing his own charted new age CDs, or writing songs that span all genres of music, Eric Bikales is the consummate creator, musician and artist.
Wearing one or several of his many hats, Eric's influence has been felt with the following Television Shows, which he either wrote music for or performed on: Hillstreet Blues, NYPD Blue, LA Law, Law and Order, Hunter, The Tonight Show, My Two Dads, Cop Files, Facts of Life, Good Morning America, Party of Five, Air Hammer, Railway Adventures Across Europe, Ally McBeal, News Radio, The Pretender, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Sliders, Profiler and Boston Public.
The films he worked on: Sweat, Hidden Agenda, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch (worked with Danny Lux.)
He's exhibited his keyboard wizardry live with: Neil Sedaka, Jack Mack and the Heart Attack, Susan Anton, Dolly Parton, Patti LaBelle, The Pointer Sisters, Jeffrey Osborn, Cher, Bette Midler, Juice Newton, Marilyn McCoo, Olivia Newton-John, Melissa Manchester and Mac Davis, among others.
In the studio, Eric has worked with: Neil Sedaka ("The Good Times,") Pee Wee Herman ("The Pee Wee Herman Show,") Gloria Loring ("Shot in the Dark"-1986-Grammy Nomination,) Kenny Rogers ("Christmas Album,") Pia Zadora, Tom Waits ("Swordfish Trombones"- 1983,) Mike Post ("Inventions From the Blue Line" -1994,) Gary Rex Tanner ("Max and the IRS" and "Feel the Heat"-1997,) and Cory Stevens "Headshrinker.") Eric's own new age albums, "Tranquility" (Moodtapes - 1987) and "Energy" (Moodtapes-1989,) which were conceived in his state of the art home recording studio, have achieved both chart and sales success. He also recorded "Autumn Whispers - Winter Dreams" (Moodtapes -1989) and "Ocean Reflections."
